Affirmations & Meditations

NOVEMBER 2025

Meditation

November…a month that turns our attention to being grateful. If we don’t already have a gratitude practice, we might feel an internal prompting to start one. But adding one more thing to our ‘to do’ list, well, where would we fit it in? So, we may not be leaning whole-heartedly into beginning this new practice. There might be another approach…what if you reworded your supplications/prayers/pleadings to your go-to-Higher-Choice which you are already doing. What if they all started with Thank you for…

During your reflection/meditation time this month, consider this…every time you ask for something, you are affirming its absence. You are confirming to God/Spirit/Universe that you are lacking, you are in need, you are suffering, you are sick, etc. You know your list. As you continue to pray this way, you are focusing on the very ‘things’ you want to change. Focusing on something energizes it. The ‘things’ won’t change if you keep focusing on them plus you are drawing more of the same to you. (basic high school physics…like energy attracts like energy) But when you begin by saying…Thank for you my vibrant health, thank you for bounty, thank you for perfect job/career for me, thank you for my agile, flexible body, etc., is affirming that these things already exist in your life while at the same time filling your heart with gratitude for them. Now energizing yourself with gratitude will bring more things for which to be grateful. And that’s when happy surprises pop up also.

And something else to consider…you already are perfectly healthy, abundant, prosperous, loved, whole, complete, generous, kind, peaceful, joyful, happy…you already are everything wonderful, beyond your wildest imagination because you were created that way! You are a spiritual being, perfect, whole, complete, pure and innocent…claim that every day with a grateful heart.

Affirmations

I AM a spiritual being, perfect, whole, complete, pure, innocent.

I am still as God created me.

I start this day with thoughts of gratitude for the perfect unfolding of this day.

I start this day with excited curiosity and a grateful heart for the happy surprises I receive.

Thank you for the blessings that fill my life today and every day.

OCTOBER 2025

Meditation

During times of unsteadiness, fear sets in. This is part of the human experience. Also, part of this scenario is resistance to what is causing the disturbance. As the old saying goes…what we resist, persists. How do we get ourselves off of this merry-go-round?

I believe we have to change our perspective.

First, we become aware of how we are seeing and relating to this situation, reminding ourselves it is our thoughts about the situation that are actually upsetting us. And then we ask to see (think about) it differently. What does that mean…see it differently? We remind ourselves of our truth …we are spiritual beings having a human experience. An experience has a beginning, middle and an end. So, whatever is going on will end.

As spiritual beings, peace is our natural state of beingness. When our peace is disturbed, we actually feel separated from our Truth, our quiet place of peace and love and feeling safe.

As you reflect and meditate this month, consider getting in touch with the truth of your beingness. Step closer to understanding what it means to be a spiritual being, to see as a spiritual being, to live as a spiritual being all while still in a physical body. Get in touch with the beauty it carries with it, the peace, love, safety, connection and, lest, we forget, the joy.

Affirmations

I AM a spiritual being.

I choose to see myself and others as spiritual beings.

I choose empowering Spirit-guided thoughts about my experiences.

I choose to see all experiences as an invitation to choose love and peace on my

journey of remembering the Truth of my Beingness.

SEPTEMBER 2025

Meditation

Once again change is all around us. Summer changing to autumn. Vacations, leisure, spontaneity changing to school, work and routines. Maybe there is a change to a new school, a new job, a new home, a new boss. Whatever the reason, change can send shivers down our spines with thoughts reminiscent of the past…not again, I don’t do well with change, the last time this happened it was disastrous.

In your meditations consider…it is the thoughts about change causing the distress, not the change itself. Past experiences with changes that were difficult is was makes the present changes loom as difficult. Thinking about these past experiences is causing the distress. Your mind/thoughts are directing the show. Make a new decision. Choose to think differently about change. Choose to develop a new relationship with change. Choose to call on Spirit to guide you. Reclaim your power from your stuck-in-the-past mind. And remember change is the only constant.

Affirmations

  • It is safe to change.

  • I am in control of my thoughts about change.

  • I choose empowering Spirit-guided thoughts about change.

  • I choose to see change as an invitation to new experiences on my journey of self-love.
